Karen L. Zofchak

Karen L. Zofchak, 62, of Washington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Washington Hospital’s emergency room.

She was born June 2, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of William J. and Vera L. Irwin Anderson of Washington.

Mrs. Zofchak was a graduate of Trinity High School.

She was a homemaker who loved to visit Disney World and will be sadly missed by not only her friends and family but also by her loving dogs Highway, Precious, Max and Dizzy, who was the love of her life.

Mrs. Zofchak was formerly a member of Washington Soccer Association.

On March 4, 1978, she married Gary Zofchak, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Jason (Janell) Zofchak of Monongahela; a daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” (Frank) Gladysz of Washington; and eight grandchildren, Kala and Ty Zofchak, Ashlee and Emilee Gladysz, Anna Stewart, Allen Gunia, Gracie and Grady Zofchak.

Deceased are a son, Brian Zofchak; a brother, William Anderson Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Missy Anderson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the funeral home.
