Beverly Jean Lane, 83, of Washington, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born March 28, 1929, in East Arlington, Vt., a daughter of the late Ralph P. and Leah Hermance Mittler.
Mrs. Lane was a graduate of Kiser High School in Dayton, Ohio, and was a secretary at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for many years.
On September 28, 1952, in Dayton, she married Harry C. Lane, who died August 4, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Robin (Dirce) Lane and Barry (Judy) Lane of Bolivar, Ohio; two daughters, Karen (Walt) Zelek of Johnstown and Cheryl Kelley of Washington; a brother, Bob (Mary) Mittler of Destin, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Marilyn Sawmiller.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, Ky. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Thomas Starzl Transplant Fund at www.upmc.com/services/transplant/abdominal-transplants/starzl-institute/pages/giving.aspx.
