Carole Jean McClenathan Becker, 72, of Winder, Ga., died Sunday, March 10, 2013, in her home with her family.

She was born November 24, 1940, in Houston, a daughter of James and Cynthia Marra McClenathan.

Mrs. Becker graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School in 1958.

She retired as a branch manager of National City Bank, giving 40 years of dedicated service.

During her retirement years, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and pets.

In 1960, she married Albert Becker, who survives. They lived in Dormont until 2006, when they relocated to Winder.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Dayna Becker (Bill Turner) of Huntington Beach, Calif., Pamela Hazlett (Mike) of Washington and Kimberly Lane (Ronnie) of Lawrenceville, Ga.: a sister, Marianne Blough (Bob) of Houston; and four grandchildren, Sarah Hazlett of Pittsburgh, Michael Hazlett of Youngstown, Ohio, and Nichole and Katie Lane of Lawrenceville.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in Smith Funeral Home, Winder. A local memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced in April in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, 724-745-2350.
