John “Ed” Stimmell, 79, of Lombard, Ill., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove.

Surviving are his devoted wife, Patricia, of 58 years; two loving daughters, Geri (Dominic) Luciano of Sullivan, Ill., and Joanna (Dan) Kulevich of West Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, Jesse, Anna, Nicole and Sarah; two sisters, Dolores (Charles) Roberts and Louise McKinney; and many nieces and nephews in Washington.

Deceased are a brother-in-law, Charles McKinney, and a son, Gary.
