Kenneth E. Cox of Leland, N.C., passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Leland.
He was born August 24, 1926, in Washington County, a son of the late Emmett T. and Inez Huggins Cox.
Mr. Cox worked for 27 years for Trinity Area School District in janitorial service, retiring in 1990.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Coffee Cox; two children, Kenneth Cox Jr. (Cecilia) of Leland and Robin Haines of Angelton, Texas; four grandsons; a granddaughter; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Edna Kress of Salem, Ohio, Hazel Komorowski of Greeley, Colo., and Minerva Frye Voorhes (Robert) of Washington.
Deceased are three brothers, Emmett, Ronald and Willard.
