Dawn Lynn Allison
Dawn Lynn Allison, 35, of Avella, died unexpectedly at 12:17 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in the emergency room of Washington Hospital.
She was born March 26, 1978, in Washington, a daughter of the late Donald “Red” Allison, who died February 28, 2012, and Roberta Stacko Allison of Avella.
Ms. Allison was formerly employed by Falcon Plastics for several years.
She enjoyed following in her father’s footsteps by cleaning abandoned houses and hauling scrap metal.
Ms. Allison was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and a jack-of-all-trades, as there was nothing she could not do. People knew her for her sense of humor and for being a very social person. She will be sadly missed.
In addition to her mother, she leaves behind a brother, Donald Duncan (Jodie) Allison Jr. of New York; a sister, Stephanie (Ronald) Kubacki of Avella; three nephews, Stephen and Shane Kubacki of Avella and Donald Allison of New York; a niece, Piper Jo Allison of New York; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be a celebration of Ms. Allison’s life for friends and family from 1 to 2 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service Wednesday, May 8, in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the funeral home. For further information or to leave a condolence, please visit www.taucherfuneralhome.com.
