Delores “Dee” Stroman, 72, of Waynesburg, died Friday, May 10, 2013, in her home
She was born April 27, 1941, in Ruff Creek, a daughter of the late James and Marie Johnson Fonner.
Mrs. Stroman was raised by her grandmother, Bess A. Johnson.
On June 14, 1964, she married Fred M. Stroman, who survives.
Mrs. Stroman worked as an inspector for Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg and Flushing Shirt Manufacturing Co. in Jefferson.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Waynesburg.
Mrs. Stroman enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, cooking and flower gardening.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Kimberly Shepherd (Randy) of Pedro, Ohio; two grandsons, Sheldon and Chandler Shepherd; two sisters, Carol Engel (Marty) of Waynesburg and Janet LeMunyon (Chuck) of Garards Fort; and four nephews, Greg and Steve LeMunyon and Scott and Todd Moore.
Deceased are a son, Troy M. Stroman, and a nephew, Michael Moore.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 13, in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg, with Linda Bland officiating.
