Mildred M. Ziemba, 94, of Monongahela, died Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela.
She was born February 21, 1919, in Washington, a daughter of Stanley and Nellie Hodor.
Mrs. Ziemba was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Transfiguration Church, in Monongahela.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her time working in her yard.
Surviving are her son, Frank E. Ziemba and wife Darlene of Cecil; son-in-law Ebert Swanson of Nevada; three grandsons, Deron and Brett Swanson and Chad Ziemba and wife Laural; two great-granddaughters, Kayla Swanson and Leah Ziemba; and a brother, Amil Hodor and wife Gertrude of Washington.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Frank J. Ziemba, and daughter Patricia Ann Swanson.
Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Funeral prayers will be said at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Transfiguration Church, Monongahela. Committal services and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Damien of Molokai Parish, 722 West Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063.
