Bernard J. “Barney” O’Bryan, 86, of Salem, N.H., died April 26, 2013, in Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Derry, N.H.
He was born in Carnegie and grew up and was educated in Washington.
Formerly of Canonsburg, for the past seven months, he was a resident of Salem.
Mr. O’Bryan was a self-employed plasterer.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.
Mr. O’Bryan was a son of the late Frank and Leatha Pearl Jester O’Bryan. Also deceased is a son, Bernard J. O’Bryan Sr.
Surviving are his grandchildren, Autumn O’Bryan of Salem and B.J. O’Bryan of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren Mason, Malori, Ivy and Dalton; sisters Jeanie Hoover and Cora O’Bryan; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and inurnment with military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Cecil Township.
