Judi Ann Santella

Judi Ann Santella, 62, of Clarksville, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born August 8, 1950, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Paul and Evelyn “Babe” Mason Westich of Fredericktown.

Mrs. Santella was a 1968 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and a 1970 graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in Charleroi.

For several years, she owned and operated a beauty shop in Clarksville. She was also formerly employed by Janet Wood State Farm Insurance Agency as a licensed staff agent.

She was a lifelong member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, and a first responder for Clarksville and Community Volunteer Fire Department.

Mrs. Santella enjoyed crafts, including ceramics, making jewelry, silk floral arrangements and flower gardening. Playing golf with her husband whenever she could brought her special enjoyment.

On November 3, 1973, she married Robert C. Santella, who survives. They celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are a daughter, Nicole Santella of Pittsburgh; sister Paula Marodi of Chesterton, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach as celebrant. Interment will follow in Fredericktown Cemetery. A parish vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
