1952 – 2013
James R. Wiley, 60, of Langeloth, passed away Friday morning, May 24, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born November 10, 1952, in McKees Rocks, a son of the late James A. and Mary Baker Wiley.
On June 30, 1973, in Lnageloth Church of Christ, he married Terri A. Rommes, who survives.
Mr. Wiley was a member of Local 66 Operating Engineers in Pittsburgh, Burgettstown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6955 and Langeloth Church of Christ.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting and camping at Bear Run Campground in Portersville.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Thomas Wiley (Chrissy Roessler) of Castle Shannon; a daughter, Chastity McCullough and husband Joseph; two granddaughters, Samantha and Sunshine McCullough; and five sisters, Joetta Rutter and husband Bryan of Georgetown, Janet Thomas and husband Larry of Scott Township, Janine Wiley of Jefferson, Joni Yilit and husband Tim of Avella and Julia “Suzi” Snatchko (Parker) of Heidelberg.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Jeffrey A. Wiley.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, with Evangelist Jim Smith officiating. Private interment will follow in Perrysville (Ohio) United Methodist Cemetery.
A replenishment drive will be held in his name from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in Langeloth Community Center. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
