Greensboro resident was security guard

Walter E. Clark, 63, of Greensboro, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, in his home, following a lengthy illness.

He was born May 15, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late Henry D. and Jennie Slobodgen Clark.

Mr. Clark was Catholic.

He had most recently been working as a security guard in Greene County.

Surviving are three children, Virginia Pace of North Carolina, Danielle Almeida of New Jersey and Maj. Jeffrey Clark, with the U.S Army in Maryland; eight grandchildren; a niece, Michelle Cohen of Washington; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, deceased are a brother, Henry Clark Jr.; a sister, Linda Copechal; a stepsister, Nedra Frazee; and a niece, Kimberly Copechal.

Graveside services are planned for Washington Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion.
