Enjoyed bingo and playing slot machines
Martha Jean “Jeannie” Provance, 74, of Washington, died Friday, May 24, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born February 21, 1939, a daughter of Randle A. and Ethel Mae Iams Glendenning.
Mrs. Provance was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo and playing slot machines at the casino.
On October 9, 1957, she married Charles E. Provance, who died May 6, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Darrell E. (Christine) Provance and Erick C. (Debbie) Provance, both of Washington; a daughter, Dawn Ann (John) Wright of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, John N. Glendenning, James A. Glendenning and Harry O. (Bonnie) Glendenning; four sisters, Leona Zitkovich, Ethel (Red) Molinaro, Katherine Plants and Geraldine Prye; nine grandchildren, Justin, Chasity, Amber, Joelle, Jalea, Jessica, Alycia, Erica and Josh; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Randle Glendenning Jr. and Dave Glendenning, and a sister, Anna Marie Fulton.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
