Union laborer, enjoyed hunting

Boyd “Harv” Miller, 45, of Wind Ridge, died at 8:38 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., from injuries he received in an automobile accident.

He was born Tuesday, February 27, 1968, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Donald Ray Miller and Donna Riley Bonar of Cameron, W.Va.

Mr. Miller was a member of Cameron Moose Lodge and Labors Union 1149 of Wheeling, W.Va., before a recent transfer to the Labors Union 1058 of Pittsburgh.

He enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers and cutting wood. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Miller worked construction as a union laborer out of Labor Union Hall 1149 in Wheeling, W.Va.

Surviving are two daughters, Kristin Miller-Sosnak and husband Joshua of Cameron and Cheyenne Miller of Wind Ridge; two grandchildren, Marissa Sosnak and Isaac Sosnak; three sisters, Twyla Mathews of Cameron, Tracy Crawford of Jollytown and Teresa Carroll of Wind Ridge; three brothers, Weston Miller of Aleppo, Dale Miller of New Freeport and Lonnie Miller of Wind Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, with Pastor Phil Campbell Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Aleppo.
