Regis Duane Ball, 74, of Washington, died Monday, November 4, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
He was born October 30, 1939, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond Ball and Jessie Appleby Ball.
Mr. Ball was a U.S. Marine Corps lance corporal, who served his country from 1956 to 1959.
He was hot-side laborer at Jones & Laughlin Steel in Aliquippa.
Mr. Ball enjoyed country music, John Wayne, Western movies and working on cars when he was younger. He also loved his cat, Jarhead.
Surviving are three sons, John (Janet) Ball of Robinson Township, Regis (Lisa) Ball Jr. of West Alexander and Paul (Jennifer) Ball of Bridgeville; two daughters, Bonnie (Frank) Wilson and Sandra (Robert) Campbell, both of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Harriette Bayne, Edna Hazlett and Sharon Bruno; a cousin, Karen Stainbrook; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are his wife, Daisy Marie Steele Ball; two brothers, Charles Ball and Raymond Ball; and two sisters, Ella M. Sipe and Mary Southall.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, November 6, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
