David Leon Mohr, 55, of Rudy, Ark., entered into rest October 29, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark.

He was born January 18, 1958, in Washington.

Mr. Mohr was the owner of Solar Shield in Fort Smith.

He was a member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, where he served as president of youth fellowship and attended camps. He was an avid fan of the Steelers, Pirates, NASCAR and fishing.

Mr. Mohr was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School, where he participated in wrestling, baseball and track.

Deceased are his father, Donald Mohr; brothers Michael Lee Mohr and Douglas Lynn Mohr; stepfather Harry A. James; and grandparents Edmund and Pauline Mohr and Wilbert and Ruth Clutter, all of Washington County.

Surviving are his wife, Deedra; son Alex of Rudy; children Vikki, Nicole and Chuck; stepson Zach Wilkinson of Fayetteville; mother Mary Lou James of Washington; brother Donald (Beth) Mohr of Washington; nieces and nephews Matt, Greg, Donald “DJ” and Heather Mohr; and uncle Dick Mohr of Washington.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, in Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, Washington, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. A lunch will be served afterward.
