Ann Panjuscsek Seaman, 92, of Weirton, W.Va., formerly of Avella, died at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Sienna Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Wintersville, Ohio.
She was born October 12, 1921, in Penowa, a daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Anna Firczak Panjuscsek.
Mrs. Seaman was employed as a clerk by Friendly Cleaners of Weirton for 35 years.
She had lived in Weirton since 1940.
Mrs. Seaman was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church of Weirton and St. Michael Roman Catholic Church of Avella.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.
On January 27, 1940, she married Paul Seaman, who died March 25, 1965.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Margaret Brandenburg of Paris; four grandchildren, Rebecca (Dale) Lynn, Denise (John) Reardon, Raymond P. Brandenburg Jr. and James (Lindsay) Brandenburg; eight great-grandchildren, Rachel, Marissa, Shannon, Kristen, Julianna, Tricia, Christopher and Brandon.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are two brothers, Mike and Peter Panjuscsek; and a son-in-law, Raymond Brandenburg Sr.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitations. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, November 22, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 97 Highland Avenue, Avella, with the Rev. Robert M. Staszewski officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, Weirton.
