Dedicated husband, father and grandfather

Gabriel B. Hudock, 88, formerly of Monongahela, died Monday, November 25, 2013, peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born December 1, 1924, to the late Joseph and Catherine Jennings Hudock.

He was a 1942 graduate of Monongahela High School and 1946 graduate of Duquesne University.

Mr. Hudock was owner/operator of Hudock Oil and Gas for 40 years, retiring in 1987.

He was an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Monica Hudock; four sons, Brian (Barb) Hudock, Regis Hudock, Gabriel (Gloria) Hudock and Joseph (Susan) Hudock; and eight grandchildren, Meghan, Allie, John, Kaitlyn, Connor, Cameron, Stephen and Colin Hudock.

Deceased are a daughter, Maureen Hudock; a daughter-in-law, Joan Hudock; and five siblings, Marcella Hudock, Joseph Hudock, Mary Cassel Latchaw, Catherine Bain and the Rev. Father Regis Hudock.

Mr. Hudock was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers, 724-941-3211. Friends welcome from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Finleyville. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
