Meadow Lands United Methodist Church member

Hilda L. Komovic, 89, of Washington, died Friday, November 22, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born August 11, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Charles and Ida Cahill Dailey.

Mrs. Komovic was a member of Meadow Lands United Methodist Church and a former member of SNPJ, Meadow Lands.

She enjoyed word-find puzzles and games, and was an avid bingo player.

On April 26, 1947, she married Victor Komovic, who died June 13, 1994.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Whitfield (Tom) of Washington and Eva L. Shade of Corry; a son, Karl Komovic (Debbie Ann) of North Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Victor Whitfield (Rhonda), Beth Hilterbrand (Cecil), Theresa Allen (Bruce), Les Shade (Sue), Kenny Gonzeles, Treva Tyler and Brandon Tyler; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Charles Dailey, and four sisters, Eva Parrino, Mamie Whiteman, Mildred Whiteman and Anna Ardeno.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, in Meadow Lands United Methodist Church.
