Member of Unity Church, enjoyed cooking
Margaret L. Rice, 86, formerly of Graysville, died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.
She was born August 6, 1927, in Morris Township, West Union, a daughter of the late Henry Reese Robison Sr. and Inez M. Ullom Robison.
Mrs. Rice was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Graysville.
She was a member of AARP, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and the time spent with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Rice enjoyed being a personal caregiver to her elderly friends and neighbors.
On June 7, 1956, she married Charles Earl Rice, who died January 11, 1964.
Surviving are three sons, Carl, husband of Patti Robison of Ft. Polk, Fla., and Charles E. Rice Jr., husband of Christine Rice and Henry E. Rice, both of Graysville; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Robison of Springfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Gary and Carl Robison Jr., Miranda Collins, Rebecca Merriner, Brittany, Christopher and Ashley Rice, Anna Culley and Jessica Gulette; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Estella Morris of Sycamore and Betty Daugherty of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Jesse Earl Robison and six brothers, Henry R. Robison Jr., Jesse C., John Joseph, Harley, Russell and Charles A. Robison Sr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 2, with Pastor Walt Stevenson and Pastor David Lowe co-officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
