Trinity Area School District worker loved polka

Josephine Ann Lusk, 75, of Washington, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township, following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 28, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of John Voytek and Anna Bednar Voytek.

Mrs. Lusk worked in the cafeteria at Trinity Area School District for 21 years and attended St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed polka, square dancing and big band music. She also enjoyed being a Trinity band parent.

On June 18, 1955, she married John S. “Jack” Lusk Sr., who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, J. Scott (Beth Ann) Lusk Jr. of Washington and David Michael Lusk of Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Deanna Lynn (Ken) Nuzum of Washington; two sisters, Virginia McCormick of Washington and Lorraine Antal of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Lucas and Joel Nuzum.

Deceased are three brothers, Gene Voytek, John D. Voytek and Albert Voytek.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Washington County Health Center, Alzheimer’s Unit, 36 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, PA 15301.
