Custom Turf employee loved Pittsburgh sports teams
Ryan W. Brawdy, 40, of Finleyville, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 3, 2013, in his home with his mom, Lenny, Tammy and nurse Michelle at his side.
He was born January 25, 1973, in New Eagle, a son of Ellen Murray Brawdy of Finleyville and William “Chook” Brawdy.
Mr. Brawdy was employed as an irrigation technician with Custom Turf in Finleyville.
He was a 1991 graduate of Ringgold High School and was an avid Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and NASCAR fan.
Mr. Brawdy had the greatest smile and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are an uncle, William “Bones” Murray of West Newton; great-aunts; great-uncles; several cousins; many friends; the special women in his life, Tammy, Nicole and Angie; and his five young ladies, Ashley, Carly, Catie, Ally and Laney.
Deceased are his maternal grandparents, Hugh “Bud” and Reva Murray, and his paternal grandparents, Willard “Jake” and Mary Brawdy.
Friends will be received from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 7, with Pastor Glen McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
