Joseph D. Pagliaro, 90, formerly of Johnstown, Altoona and McMurray, died Saturday morning October 5, 2013, in UPMC-Altoona hospital.
He was born in Johnstown, a son of the late Michael and Isabella DeFazio Pagliaro.
On August 10, 1944, in Johnstown, he married Frances Kravetz, who survives.
Also surviving are children Lorraine (Robert) Beck, Patricia (Richard) Layton, Isabelle (Dennis) Gerber and Michael (Deena) Pagliaro; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings Nellie Aiello and Betty (Frank) Oxen.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday in Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204-17th Street, Altoona. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, in Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, 1 Cathedral Square, Altoona. Committal will be in Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the family for the charities that they can choose.
