McMurray Art League board member
Marianne Adele Koellner, 82, of Peters Township, died Friday, October 4, 2013.
She was born March 8, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late John and Adele Stark Wilson.
Mrs. Koellner was a member and longtime board member of McMurray Art League. She was also a member of South Hills Art League and enjoyed painting, art, music and playing with her dog, Terra.
Surviving are a son, Paul J. Koellner and his wife, Andrea, of Omaha, Neb.; daughter Carol Anne Koellner of Oak Hill, W.Va.; stepson Charles D. Koellner and his wife, Patricia, of Columbus, Ohio; sister Joan Phillips and her husband, Robert, of Glen Cove, N.Y.; grandchildren Brittany and Julia Koellner; a stepgrandchild, Douglas Koellner; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Charles R. Koellner; her sister, Janet Calabria; and her stepgrandchild, Christopher.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director. A blessing service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, in the funeral home, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
