Carpenter enjoyed hunting, gardening
John Alan Bober, 54, of Washington, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born May 15, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late John M. Bober and Adella Cheze Bober.
Mr. Bober was a graduate of Trinity High School and worked as a carpenter in residential construction.
He enjoyed carpentry and the outdoors, especially hunting, trapping and gardening.
Surviving are two daughters, Rachael Bruno (David) and Maggie Bober; a brother, Daniel Bober; a sister, Donna (Earl) Wilson, all of Washington; and four grandchildren, Olivia, Samantha and Andrew Bruno and Madison Hoffman.
Deceased is a brother, Karl Bober.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, with the Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
