Julia M. Zarin, 83, of McDonald, died Monday, October 7, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born December 30, 1929, in Imperial, a daughter of the late Mose and Rose Ritchie Zarin.
Surviving are children Dorothy Long of North Fayette Township, Walter Was of Bulger, Mary Jane (Donald) Nice of Midway, Joseph (Elaine) Was of Carnegie, Kathleen Talmonti of Carnegie and David (Wendy) Was of Avella; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, James Zarin of Coraopolis.
Deceased are her husband, Walter M. Was, who died March 20, 2013; a son, Richard Was; five sisters; and a brother.
