Loving mother
Dorothy Graeham, 80, of Carnegie, died October 9, 2013.
She was the loving mother of Jane Fraser (George), Ian Fraser (Stacy), Kenna Given (Bill) and Moira Craig (Doug); sister of the late Graham (Mary) Smith and Ken (Gwen) Smith of Liverpool, U.K.; and grandmother of Reid, Kate and Graham.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom.
Ms. Graeham was born and raised in Liverpool. She emigrated to Pittsburgh in 1958.
She was a supremely talented actor in the local theater community, including Little Lake Theater, Stage 62 and McKeesport Little Theater.
Ms. Graeham spent many years in the hotel industry, Federated Investors and retired as an administrative assistant from Carnegie Hero Fund.
She was the center point for her children and grandchildren. Her continual positive outlook on life and sense of humor will be remembered by all family and friends, including her loyal companion, Teddy.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12, in Baptist Homes, 489 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a time to be announced November 23, in Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills, Sunnhill, 1240 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon.
