Telephone lineman enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling
Robert J. “R.J.” Watson, 43, of Daisytown, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
He was born June 9, 1970, in Washington, a son of the late Robert S. and Carmelita Greco Watson.
Mr. Watson was a 1988 graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School.
For several years, he was employed by the former Bentleyville Telephone Co. as a lineman.
An outdoorsman, Mr. Watson enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and playing pool.
Surviving are a son, Nathan Watson of Monongahela; a stepson, Colton Sowers of Monongahela; two sisters, Babette Johnson and Stephanie (Randy) Adamson, both of Bentleyville; three nieces, Allyson Johnson, Cody Lynn Adamson and Sarah Jane Adamson; and a great-nephew, Logan E. Milligan.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, with the Rev. Paul Peternel officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-1207.
