Christy Ann Duran Yazevac, 36, of Burgettstown, formerly of Bavington, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 13, 2013, in her home.

She was born February 16, 1977, in Washington Hospital, a daughter of Victoria Spanogians Duran of Bavington and the late Timothy Paul Duran.

A 1995 graduate of the Fort Cherry High School, she was a representative for Premier Jewelry and worked at Undo’s Family Restaurant in Weirton, W.Va.

Mrs. Yazevac was a lifelong member of Robinson United Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed cooking, riding with her husband on their Harley Davidson and, most of all, spending time with her son and family.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Donald L. Yazevac, whom she married October 8, 2011; a son, Garrett Angelo Yazevac, at home; two sisters, Andrea Lee Duran of Bavington and Abigail Rose Rodriguez and husband David of Bulger; two brothers, Samuel James Duran and fiancée Kasey Beaudin of Bulger and Daniel Paul Duran and wife Ann of Bulger; nieces and nephews Alyssa, Isabella and Zachary Rodriguez and Ayla and Addalyn Duran; a mother-in-law, Kathy Yazevac; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Deceased, in addition to her father, is her father-in-law, Don Yazevac.

Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, in Robinson United Presbyterian Church, Burgettstown, with the Rev. Pat Schaefer officiating Everyone is kindly asked to please meet at the church.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to her family for a trust to be set up for her son, Garrett, in care of the funeral home.
