Clyde V. Fragapane II
1989-2013
Clyde V. Fragapane II, 24, of Leech Road, Hempfield Township, passed away as a result of an automobile accident, Sunday, October 13, 2013.
He was born March 30, 1989, in Sharon, a son of Clyde V. Fragapane and Christina “Chrissy” Yakela Massena.
Mr. Fragapane was a 2007 graduate of Greenville High School, where he played football, and was a member of the state finalist 400 meter relay team. He was a 2011 graduate of Thiel College, with a degree in environmental biology. He recently returned from a five-month internship at a salmon hatchery in Cordova, Alaska.
He was an avid pool player and belonged to TAP and APA leagues. He also enjoyed bowling and all aspects of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and fly-fishing. He was a great gardener and cook, and loved cooking for family and friends. He loved watching sports, especially football and baseball, and seeing the Pirates make the playoffs this year. He enjoyed playing Xbox and hanging out at Padrone’s Pizza & Pub with his friends. He was a loving father, and he loved spending time with his younger brother.
Surviving are a daughter, Reese Marley Fragapane of Jamestown; father Clyde V. Fragapane and wife Laura of Canonsburg; mother Christina “Chrissy” Massena and husband Brian “Beezer” of Greenville; a brother, Christopher Fragapane of Greenville; two stepbrothers, Anderson Jones of Canonsburg and Brinton Jones of Canonsburg; and grandparents Frances Haylett of Greenville, Rosalie Fragapane of Canonsburg, Lynn Frampton of Greenville and Lloyd Carpenter of West Virginia.
Deceased are grandfathers Raymond Haylett and Samuel Fragapane.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Osborne-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 73-75 Columbia Avenue, Greenville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 17. Cremation will follow the service.
