Enjoyed going to the movies

Gerald V. “Jerry” Bartolotta, 59, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Washington Hospital, following a three month illness.

He was born August 16, 1954, in Peekskill, Westchester County, N.Y., a son of the late Fred and Lea Bertuccelli Bartolotta.

Mr. Bartolotta graduated from Washington High School, Class of 1974.

He worked as a collator for American Mailing, and also for several beer distributors.

Mr. Bartolotta enjoyed going to the movies and attending festivals.

Surviving are two sisters, Debra A. (Tim) Ward of Washington and Pat Cathers of North Pole, Alaska; nieces and nephews; and a friend, Betty of Washington.

At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation or service. Burial will follow at a later date with his parents in Washington Cemetery.
