Josephine A. Namie, 91, of Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare and Evergreen Assisted Living, Washington, formerly of Hollywood, Fla., died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Washington Hospital emergency room.

She was born December 5, 1921, in Lebanon, a daughter of Mike G. and Mary George Namie.

Miss Namie was a Washington High School graduate and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

During her years residing in Florida, she was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. She worked for an ear, nose and throat doctor in Hollywood for 22 years as an office manager. She worked very well with the public. She was formerly a member of Medical Assistants of South Broward County.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are four brothers, Ablan, Shiban, Naseem and Ike Namie.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev. William P. Feeney, as celebrant. Those wishing to attend the Mass are asked to meet at the church. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Washington.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S.
