Betty J. Flick, 79, of Brownsville, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, in Country Care Manor, Fayette City.
She was born May 10, 1934, in Centerville, a daughter of the late George H. and Elizabeth V. Pirt.
Mrs. Flick was a member of South Brownsville United Methodist Church.
Deceased are two sisters, Grace Glagola and Donna Frisco; and a brother, George Pirt.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Ernest Flick; two daughters, Becky Ulery and husband Larry of LaBelle and Cherrie Rastoka and husband Dominick of Bentleyville; two granddaughters, Michelle Bennett and Nicole Gregg; a great-grandson, Isayah Lee; seven sisters and two brothers, Hannah Stevens, Sarah Parsons, Martha Cumashot, Patricia Dunseath, Mary Jane Black, Wanda Williams, Roberta Dugan, Gerald Pirt, and Joseph Pirt.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, and until 1 p.m. Monday, October 21, when a funeral service will be held with Pastor Jay Polowsky officiating.
