Anita L. Anderson, 62, of Washington, died Monday, October 14, 2013, in Highland Health Care Center, Pittsburgh.
She was born November 3, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of the late Edward H. and Gertrude D. Clark Anderson.
Ms. Anderson was a 1968 graduate of Trinity High School and later worked as a nurse’s assistant at Washington Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 2005.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Washington.
Ms. Anderson loved her cats dearly.
Surviving are two brothers, Anthony Anderson and Edward H. Anderson Jr.; a sister, Jennifer Myers of San Antonio, Texas; a stepsister, Yvonne Anderson of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday in Friendship Baptist Church, 17 Walnut Street, Washington, where services will be held 5 p.m. Monday, October 21, with Pastor Richard White officiating. All other services will be private.
