Avid runner loved sports

Greg S. Moore, 51, of Beallsville, died Friday, October 18, 2013.

He was born October 11, 1962, in Washington, a son of Louis J. and Betty Ruth Watson Moore, who survive.

Mr. Moore was 1980 graduate of McGuffey High School.

He was currently employed at Dynamet Inc, in Washington, PA as a machinist. He was formerly employed at Ametek, Eighty Four, and Ross Mould, Washington, for a combined career of 25 years. He worked part-time, helping J.D. Enterprises.

He was a hard worker and loved helping family and friends.

Mr. Moore was a lifelong member of St. Agnes R.C. Church, Richeyville.

He was an avid runner, competing in numerous races, such as the Nationwide Marathon in Columbus, Ohio, Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. and the Richard S. Caliguiri Great Race in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Moore was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, weightlifting, spending time with family at 11 Point Camp in Emporium and working with his father.

On June 21, 1986, Mr. Moore married Terri Bartolomucci, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sons, Nicholas Gregory Moore and Dominic Anthony Moore; a daughter, Mackenzie Lynn Moore; two sisters, Karen Carson (Kit) of Malden and Lisa Kuhns (Jeff) of Millerstown; a stepbrother, Doug Wilson (Karen Amos) of Claysville; five nieces, Hattie and Olivia Kuhns, and Lauren, Hailey and Morgan Bartolomucci; five nephews, Jason, Cory and Ean Livingood, and Donnie and Marc Bartolomucci.

Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street Beallsville, where prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Edward Yuhas in the St. Agnes R.C. Church, Richeyville. Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery.
