Former Washington Hospital aide
Jo Anne Caudell, 68, of Washington, formerly of Shelbyville, Ind., died Saturday, October 19, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a 20-year illness.
She was born December 13, 1944, in Pawtucket, R.I., a daughter of the late Raymond Leo and Doris Lamert Ludgate Conlon.
A graduate of Shelbyville High School, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Ms. Caudell had worked for five years as a nurse’s aide at Washington Hospital.
Surviving are her longtime friend, with whom she made her home, Deborah Miller; a daughter, Dee Anne Caudell Orbany of Pennsylvania; a brother, Bruce Alan Conlon of Delaware; a sister, Nancy Lee Burke of Canonsburg; and two grandchildren, Mathew Aaron Orbany and Ashleigh Marie Orbany.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 E. Maiden St., Washington, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, with the Rev. Catherine Peternell officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
