Patrick Francis Doody, 51, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2013.

He was born in Fort Riley, Kan., and was a 1980 graduate of West Greene High School in Rogersville. He attended several colleges, including Carnegie Mellon, Purdue and the University of Maryland.

Mr. Doody enlisted into the Army and was honorably discharged after a short period. He worked for many years in the restaurant business at several locations in Maryland, Virginia, California, Indiana and Washington D.C.

Deceased is his father, Lt. Col. Richard Doody.

Surviving are his mother, Marjorie Klaus (James) of Port St. Lucie, Fla., two sisters, Laura Hern of Albuquerque, N.M. and Christine Van Deyson of Port St. Lucie; two brothers, Kevin Doody (Joyce) of Mt. Lebanon and Timothy Doody (Anna) of Ashburn, Va., and six nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Craig, Katherine, Colin, Megan and Kyle Doody.

The family will receive visitors from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, in Behm Funeral Home, 182 West High Street, Waynesburg.
