John Michael Toth

John Michael Toth died October 13, 2013.
He was born June 15, 1950, in Fredericktown, one of nine children born to John and Anna Toth. Sisters Patty Bujarski, Emily Gold, Deborah Boback and Selene Sowden and brothers George, Richard, Michael and Christopher all have fond memories from life on the hill. Also surviving are important cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Toth preferred the outdoors and greatly enjoyed hiking, camping and kayaking. Music was a part of his life and he shared his love for music by directing church choirs, leading sing-alongs, playing guitar and bass and, of course, dancing.
He married Judie Riesen Barrett June 16, 1979, and gained a son, Jeff Barrett Toth. Later, they welcomed daughter Katie Toth Rojas and son Kevin Toth.
A yearlong battle with cancer did not diminish Mr. Toth’s love of life and accomplishments. His family will always remember his fun antics and gentle wisdom. Of all Mr. Toth’s accomplishments, and there were many, he was proudest of being a husband, father and grandfather.
