U.S. Army veteran served three tours in Vietnam
Edward Walker Hanna, 74, of Washington, died Monday, October 21, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
He was born March 20, 1939, in Washington, a son of Walter Hanna and Thelma Harshman Hanna.
Mr. Hanna served in the U.S. Army for 16 years and did three tours in Vietnam.
He worked for Washington County at Mingo Creeek County Park in maintenance for 20 years.
Surviving are three brothers, Richard Hanna, Bill Hanna and Bob Hanna, and two sisters, Patricia Onopiuk and Dolores Tarr, all of Washington.
Deceased are a brother, Jack Hanna, and a sister, Cheryl Hanna.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. A guest book is available at www.nealfuneralhomes.com.
