Enjoyed gardening, crafting and baking
Linda Sue Buttermore, 62, of Lone Pine, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, October 15, 2013, in her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born May 9, 1951, to Virginia Joy Leech Buttermore of Charleroi and the late Robert Edward Buttermore.
Ms. Buttermore was a 1969 graduate of the former Monongahela High School and grew up in the Mon Valley area. She later moved to Washington, where she worked for the magistrate for over 15 years, retiring in 1996.
She enjoyed gardening, crafting and baking things with her daughter, Breanne Buttermore, of whom she was a loving mother.
Surviving are a sister, Karen Smith; half-brother Wade Buttermore; adopted daughter Nicole Paul; longtime friends, Anita Nester and Regina McCarty; and many adopted sons and daughters who helped to fill her life with joy.
