Lisa Marie Butcher Hewitt and Timothy Adam Hewitt Jr.
Lisa Marie Butcher Hewitt, 27, of Claysville, formerly of Hookstown, died Monday, October 28, 2013, while attempting to protect her son, Timothy Adam Hewitt Jr., 5, during a fire that destroyed the family’s home.
She was born on May 31, 1986, in Beaver Valley, a daughter of John D. and Lori Gavalya Butcher of Clinton.
Mrs. Hewitt was a homemaker, whose greatest joy was being a mother.
On December 12, 2010, she married Timothy Adam Hewitt Sr., who survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Loralee A. Butcher of Claysville and mother-in-law Deborah E. Hewitt of Claysville.
Deceased are a daughter, Haley Nicole Hewitt; two sons, Timothy Jr., who died during the same house fire, and Christopher A. Butcher; and father-in-law Thomas Melvin Hewitt.
Timothy Adam Hewitt Jr., of Claysville, died Monday, October 28, 2013.
He loved animals, especially his dog, and playing outside.
Timothy attended kindergarten at Claysville Elementary School.
Surviving are his father, Timothy Adam Hewitt Sr.; paternal grandmother Deborah E. Hewitt of Claysville; maternal grandparents John D. and Lori Butcher of Clinton; two uncles, Thomas Melvin Hewitt and Daniel Robert Hewitt; an aunt, Loralee A. Butcher; a cousin, Tausha Nicole Hewitt; and many extended family members.
Deceased are his mother, Lisa; paternal grandfather Thomas Melvin Hewitt; sister Haley Nicole Hewitt; and brother Christopher Butcher.
A memorial visitation will be held for both from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, November 1, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
