Ronald Edward Bogan Sr., 62, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1951, in Washington, a son of the late Monroe Bogan and Ethel Bogan.
Mr. Bogan was a physical therapy aid at Washington County Health Center for 38 years.
He loved basketball, which he played in high school, and enjoyed coaching Wylie-Hayes Youth Basketball. He also was a Honda fanatic and loved music.
On May 30, 1973, he married Susan E. Harding Bogan, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald E. Bogan Jr. of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Sissy (Paul) Clark of Washington, Tabitha Walker of Washington and Renette (Bob) Genous of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Elnora Galloway of Newark, N.J.; and five grandchildren, Maiya Bogan, Raven Bogan, Noah Bogan, Brenten Clark and Alexis Genous.
Deceased are two brothers, Bobby Bogan and Monroe Bogan Jr., and two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Norma Jackson.
Friends will received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 3, with Pastor Bob Rizor officiating.
