Veronica Jean Morgan, 52, of Aliquippa, formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in Kindred Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness
She was born June 19, 1961, in Washington, a daughter of Harry A. “Hezzie” and Veronica A. Manion Morgan of Washington.
Ms. Morgan was baptized in Immaculate Conception Church. She was a resident of Allegheny Valley School since 1966. She enjoyed music, puzzles and jewelry.
Surviving are a brother, Harry A. (Deborah) Morgan Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sisters, Loretta A. (John) Niemiec of Moundsville, W.Va., Elaine M. (Edward) Morascyzk of Washington and Catherine L. (Ed) Twele of Westminster, Colo.; 11 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ms. Morgan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Evan R. Morgan and Effie L. Morgan; and maternal grandparents, John E. Manion Sr. and Veronica M. Manion.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 2, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Lou Pascazi as celebrant. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Valley School, 1996 Ewings Mills Road, Coraopolis PA 15108-3380.
