Loretta Joann Redman
1937 – 2013
Loretta Joann Redman, 76, of Burgettstown, Hanover Township, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, in Kindred Hospital, Oakdale.
She was born June 12, 1937, a daughter of the late Harry Harrison and Christine Howell Marshall.
Mrs. Redman worked at Best Western and Holiday Inn in Weirton, W.Va., and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and listening to country music.
Her husband, Arthur Leon Redman Sr., died December 7, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Jules William Redman of Burgettstown; two daughters, Margaret Zombeck of Burgettstown and Lorie Redman of Bulger; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Donald Marshall of Burgettstown; four sisters, Lucille Burris, Wanetta Warrick, Mildred Marshall and Wilma Shedlock, all of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Arthur Leon Redman Jr.; two daughters, Sandra Kay Samaras and Patricia Ann Redman, who died in infancy; and two sisters, Leona Woods and Doris Thomas.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 5, with the Rev. Mark Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery.
