Longtime Monongahela Foodland cashier
Gloria A. McCall Paterson, 71, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Monongahela, died Friday, September 6, 2013, in Southwestern Nursing Center, Pleasant Hills.
He was born November 11, 1941, in Monongahela, a daughter of William and Frances McCall.
Mrs. Paterson had worked for more than 25 years as a cashier for Monongahela Foodland until her retirement in 2004.
She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Anthony Church, in Monongahela and Carroll Township American Legion Post 949.
Surviving are her husband, William G. Paterson; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Joyce McCall of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Sandra McCall.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, with Father William Terza officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
