Cynthia A. Sager Ellis Myzak, 52, of Washington, formerly of Greensburg, lost her battle with lung cancer Sunday, September 8, 2013.
She was born August 2, 1961, in Greensburg, a daughter of Mary Jo (Ralph “Boxer”) Zediker of Bethesda, Ohio, and Timothy P. (Nora “Sam”) Sager of New Stanton.
Mrs. Myzak was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Washington Hospital for 18 years and was an active member of the union.
To everyone that knew her, she was a kind and compassionate individual who would do anything for anyone.
She enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles, planting flowers, keeping a clean house, spending time with friends and family, doing yard work and was consequently given the nickname “farm boss” by her husband.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Michael R. Myzak, whom she married June 8, 2013, and considered herself fortunate to spend the past eight years with; grandmother Alda C. Sager of Youngwood; four brothers, Timothy Sager of Mt. Pleasant, Mark Sager of Ohio, Todd (Laura) Sager of Youngwood and Keith Zediker of Ohio; a sister, Tracey Zediker of Ohio; a daughter, Rischelle (Joshua) Shaw of Erie; a son, Gregory Bayless Jr. of Washington; and granddaughter Zoe Shaw of Erie.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave., Washington, and 9 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Wednesday, September 11, in C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood, with the Rev. Susan Petritis officiating. Interment will follow in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg.
