Hugh L. Sebolt, 87, formerly of Eighty Four, Nottingham Township, died Monday, September 9, 2013, in Paramount Senior Living, McMurray.

He was born July 22, 1926, in Bethel Park, a son of George and Anna McMonagle Sebolt.

Mr. Sebolt was a retired union bricklayer.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mr. Sebolt was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 764 in McMurray.

Surviving are a son, Dennis Sebolt of Mattoon, Ill.; two daughters, Deborah Beech of Bethel Park and Kristen Boehm of South Fayette Township; a stepson, Dale Matorana of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, John Sebolt of Eighty Four and Daniel Sebolt of Mt. Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Deceased are his first wife, Doris Koontz Sebolt; his second wife, Annetta Crouch Sebolt; two sons, Mark and David Sebolt; a brother, George Sebolt; and a sister, Marita Creehan.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Monday, September 16, in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
