Loved spending time with her family

Joy Lynn Bombash, 51, of Canonsburg, died Friday, September 13, 2013, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, with her family by her side.

She was born January 24, 1962, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Spencer Wilk.

Mrs. Bombash graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in the class of 1979.

On August 8, 1981, she married Andrew J. Bombash III of North Strabane, who survives.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg.

Mrs. Bombash worked as a pharmacy technician at the Peters Township Giant Eagle pharmacy for the past 12 years.

She loved fishing, motorcycle riding and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Timothy M. Bombash and wife Danielle of North Strabane and Patrick J. Bombash and wife Neva of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; three sisters, Sharon Mickle and husband Jim of Corry, Joanie Fincham and husband Odie of Marianna and Joneen Wilk of Washington; a granddaughter, Olive Bombash; eight nieces, Jodie, Tammy, Lori, Brenda, Melinda, Heather, Kayla and Elizabeth; and four nephews, Johny, Christopher, Junko and Russel.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director.
