Karen A. Johnson, 53, of Canonsburg, formerly of Amity, died Saturday, September 1, 2013, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Washington November 5, 1960, a daughter of John Lloyd Fowler and Dorothy I. Doty Dublin.

Ms. Johnson was a graduate of Trinity High School. She was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church. She served as president resident council at the Greenery in Canonsburg for years.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sisters, Beverly Brown and Noreen Wicks; a brother, Stanley Fowler; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased are her stepfather, James Dublin; and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Esther Doty.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington PA 15301, where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 17.
