Evelyn E. Hellier, 84, of Finleyville, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born September 10, 1929, in Finleyville, a daughter of Harry and Ellen Carney Castor.
Mrs. Hellier was retired from the laundry department of the former Mayview State Hospital.
She was Methodist.
Surviving are two daughters, Anita Schock and husband Adolph of Finleyville and Crystal Gergorsky and husband Andy of Chillicothe, Ohio; a brother, William Castor of Finleyville; two sisters, Mae George of Canonsburg and Donna Puglisi of Bethel Park; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Hugh Hellier, who died in 1994, and a son, Hugh Hellier Jr.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Friday, September 27, in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue in Finleyville. Private interment will be held in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
